What Will Twisters Be About?
Right now, the story for Twisters has not yet been divulged by Universal. But as Deadline reported, the sequel may focus on the character of Helen Hunt’s daughter. That’s because she shares the same passion for chasing storms as her parents once had.
Twisters Cast and Crew
At the time of writing, Universal has not yet revealed the list of actors that will be part of the new Twisters movie. It’s a bit unfortunate that two of the main actors from the original film will no longer be able to join since they have already passed: Bill Paxton and Philip Seymour Hoffman. We still don’t know whether Helen Hunt has signed on to join the sequel.
And although Mark L. Smith has been tapped to write the screenplay for the movie and Frank Marshall will be producing the film, a director has not yet been chosen. Deadline shared that the list of hopefuls include Travis Knight, and husband and wife tandem, Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi. But there’s still no word on who Universal will get to direct the sequel. While a trailer for Twisters won’t be available until at least next year, here’s something to look at for the meantime:
