Rhodey remains to be one of the most influential characters in the MCU and fans can expect him to be an integral part of the entire Multiverse saga. As it stands, Cheadle is confirmed to be involved in three Disney+ shows — Ironheart, Secret Invasion, and Armor Wars and it would also be safe to assume that his character will also appear in the next two Avengers films.However, it turns out that despite signing up for multiple appearances, the 57-year-old actor is currently not tied to a Marvel contract. During an interview with Variety at Disney’s D23 Expo, Cheadle explained that he’s no longer obligated to make his MCU return unless he’s approached for a project. However, it wouldn’t be shocking if he wanted to end his tenure as some of the MCU OGs have already moved on.The official release date for Armor Wars has yet to be announced but the project begins filming next year.
