In a recent interview with Collider, the actor revealed the details about how they managed to bring back the actor to show up in the post-credits scene. First, Johnson explained how he and his team have been friends with Cavill for years since his business partner Dany Garcia is also the Superman actor’s manager. He also talked about how he worked hard on bringing back the actor in order to give the fans what they wanted.
“It got to a point where collectively, I want to say myself, Dany and Hiram [Garcia], we said, ‘Here’s how the movie should end. And I’ll give you one further, test it, and if it doesn’t work, we’ll never talk about it again. Test it.’ We shot it, to their credit, new leadership. They saw it and said, ‘We don’t even have to test it,’” the actor said. As Johnson mentioned, the credit also goes to the new leadership under Warner Bros.
