Now, as reported by The Direct, the rumor has ignited even further thanks to notable insider KC Walsh who posted a photo from a scene in Black Adam along with a caption of a dialogue exchange between the titular antihero and an off-screen character. “There is no one [on] this planet that can stop me,” the titular antihero said in the scene according to the caption. The off-screen character responded, “Good thing I’m not from this planet…”

A lot of fans are speculating that the photo is teasing Superman’s appearance in the upcoming film since the character obviously did not come “from this planet” as we all know. Out of all the confirmed characters that are going to show up in the film, none of them seem to come from another planet which opens up Superman as the candidate for the off-screen character in the scene. Obviously, we will never know the actual answer to this speculation until we finally see the film or the marketing materials will spoil the Man of Steel’s potential surprise appearance. Either way, that is definitely an exciting prospect for fans. The film’s logline reads: “Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.” The cast also includes Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, and Viola Davis. Jaume Collet-Serra directed the film. Also Read: New Black Adam Trailer Reveals Shocking Connection to Suicide Squad Black Adam is slated for release in theaters on October 21, 2022.
