Speaking recently with Collider, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever producer Nate Moore was asked whether there’s going to be a third movie after the upcoming film. While he revealed that they already have some ideas, he also said that such plans are too early at this point to make an official decision. “That’s a great question. To be honest, this is not me trying to not answer the question. We really want to see how audiences receive the film, and I think Ryan’s really interested to see how the film plays before we decide,” Moore said.

“There are certainly ideas we’ve floated around of what a third film could be if we get to make it. But until the movie comes out, we’re a bit superstitious in that way. We don’t want to count our chickens, because you never know what’s going to happen.” It is understandable that they haven’t officially decided yet about a potential third solo movie at this point. After all, the sequel is still about to be released and it is a wiser move to wait for the reception from the audience before they make any official plans for the next follow-up. Considering that most MCU heroes were able to have their third movie, it is a safe bet that Black Panther will also have one at some point. However, it still has to deal with the fact that a different character is now taking the mantle and it’s interesting to see which one will officially take it in the future by the end of the upcoming film.
