The official website of Bleach shared a synopsis for the premiere of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, which its titled The Blood Warfare. The first images and synopsis have also been revealed.

Tomohiso Taguchi worked on the storyboard and screenplay while Cindy H. Yamauchi served as the animation director.
