As shown in the tweet below, a batch of stills from the upcoming Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War episode have been released, giving us a look at familiar faces. In one of the stills, Renji is shown to be dressed in bandages, and another shot shows him dressed in Shinigami robes, looking ready to fight Ichigo Kurosaki. It seems that this still is some part of a flashback to remind fans of their bromance moments throughout the series.
Another shot shows a close-up look at Shunsui, and it looks like he will be checking in on Squad Zero, the secret security squad who arrived in Soul Society after Yhwach left, and the remaining members of the Gotei 13 met with the group. Squad Zero asked Ichigo to follow them to the Soul Palace, and manga readers already know what will happen next. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 9 is set to release Monday, December 5.
