CD Projekt Red proudly announced on the official Twitter account of Cyberpunk that there will be a new novel to be written by Polish sci-fi author Rafah Kosik titled Cyberpunk 2077: No Coincidence arriving on the stands in August 2023 with the book cover of the novel. Cyberpunk 2077: No Coincidence will be following a group of strangers as they stumble upon the dangers of Night City and get through it. Since it will be written by Rafah Kosik, a Polish sci-fi author, there would be a Polish version of the novel as well. The book cover shows a cyborg-like person being held on the throat by a character who seems to have two sides, one is smirking and the other isn’t, hinting an ominous character in the novel.

Recently, CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk smashed success in the anime series, Edgerunners, which easily became a top title on Netflix in September 2022. CD Projekt Red continues to bank on media outside of its games following the disheartening launch of Cyberpunk 2077. Still, they are producing more titles for the franchise, even announcing its sequel with a codename, Orion, under CD Projekt Red North America boasting hundreds of developers. There will also be a major expansion of the game, Phantom Liberty, which will be releasing in 2023 which will feature the continuation of the narrative of V and Johnny Silverhand following their oath of allegiance to the New United States of America. Cyberpunk 2077: No Coincidence novel arrives on the book stands in August 2023.
