DC Studios’ co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran are well aware that not everyone will appreciate what they have in store for the DCU but there’s no stopping the duo’s restructuring of the franchise. Now, it appears that the official logo of the recently rechristened studio has made its way online. Producer Patrick Schumacker, known for his work on HBO Max’s hit animated series Harley Quinn might have accidentally leaked the logo for the revamped DC Films or did he? A photo of Schumacker wearing a hoodie with what looks to be the official emblem for DC Studios is currently making the rounds online. The logo is pretty much the same DC Comics logo the company has been using for years, except with the word “studios” plastered in the middle. What makes it different is that it includes silhouettes of core members of the Justice League — Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman. I gotta be honest though, things aren’t looking all that promising for the franchise after the drama that transpired over the last couple of days. Hopefully, Gunn and Safran will prove the critics wrong and will be able to win fans over.Meanwhile, DC’s next film Shazam! Fury of the Gods is set for release on March 17, 2023.
