Demon Slayer gets a new poster with a major throwback on the Mugen Train Arc which not only got the first half of Season 2 but also topped the box office as the number 1 anime film of all time. On Ufotable’s official Twitter account, they also tease new information on Demon Slayer Season 3. The new poster goes with the caption of Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train Special Broadcast happening on December 10, 2022 on Fuji TV, and the post also teases new information about the upcoming Demon Slayer Season 3 which will delve into the Swordsmith’s Village arc. Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba is based on the manga series of Koyoharu Gotouge who wrote and illustrated it, currently, it is the ninth best-selling manga series of all time. It follows Tanjiro Kamado who aims to be a demon slayer following the slaughter of his family and his sister, Nezuko, being a demon.

In 2019, Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba finally got its very own anime series by Ufotable and the title released a sequel film, Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train, which became the highest-grossing anime film of all time worldwide and in Japan. The second season of Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba was split in half with the Mugen Train arc and the Entertainment District arc. Announcing the third season, Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba will have the anime adaptation of the Swordsmith Village arc with 11 episodes. While Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 3 has no release date yet, all these may change when Jump Fiesta arrives.
