HIGHLIGHT To Return With Mini Album in November 2022
On HIGHLIGHT’s social media accounts, the idol group confirmed the upcoming arrival of its fourth mini album, After Sunset. It shared the news alongside a comeback trailer shared on YouTube. After Sunset will become its new music eight months after dropping Daydream in March, and fans will be able to listen to it on music streaming services starting on November 7 at 6:00 p.m. KST. The four current members — Yoon Du Joon, Yang Yo Seop, Lee Gi Kwang, and Son Dong Woon — will appear in the new project. The group held the concert to mark its 13th debut anniversary, and the members performed 14 songs during the event, like Daydream, Play, Hey Yeah, Not the End, WAVE, Our Eyes, Seven Wonders, Whatever, It’s a beautiful night, Lovely Day, Surf, Classic, More Than You Think, and Don’t Leave. “It was a very meaningful time to be able to spend our 13th anniversary with fans. We sincerely thank fans who have supported BEAST and Highlight so far. We will try our best to show new and great sides of Highlight. Please continue to support us!” the members said.
Former HIGHLIGHT Member Yong Jun Hyung Will Also Return
Aside from the group, its former member Yong Jun Hyung will also return after his four-year hiatus due to his involvement in drug and sex crimes in the Burning Sun scandal. The issue, which also put former BIGBANG member Seungri in Limbo, revealed several idols and business people who became part of different crimes. Yong Jun Hyung left his group after he admitted that he received and watched NSFW clips that influential people in the Burning Sun illegally took.
