Code may have lost the fight against Daemon in Chapter 71, but he managed to survive thanks to his transportation jutsu, and in Chapter 72, he went to Isshiki’s dimension with Bug. There, he encountered the massive Ten-Tails that was introduced earlier in the Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto’s shonen series. With Code’s powers, the powerful beast has been adjusted into “a more manageable size”. The Ten-Tails have been split into frightening humanoid creatures that somewhat resemble White Zetsu and Dragon Ball’s Frieza.
How did Code create the humanoid Ten-Tails?
In Chapter 72, Code explained to Bug that his claw marks are created by mixing iron from his blood with embodied chakra, so that means he can interact with any form of chakra and manipulate them accordingly with his power. This allowed him to coat the entirety of the Ten-Tails in his claw marks. Since the powerful Ten-Tails is an entity made of pure chakra, Code is able to use his claw marks to interact with the beast and manipulate him accordingly. Now that his limiters have been removed, Code can now use his claw marks to their full potential, allowing him to manipulate the Ten-Tails in a massive scale. “There used to be a limit to how many I could put out at one time, but the restored me can create enough to completely enwrap this behemoth,” Code said. “A previously impossible feat.” Code went on to say that splitting up the Ten-Tails is like molding clay, and after the Ten-Tails humanoid creatures were fully-formed, the chapter revealed that they can travel via the claw marks. The last two chapters of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations didn’t feature Code and his humanoid creatures, but expect him to make a move with his army soon.
