If you’d ask Jenkins, there’s zero truth to the reports surrounding her decision to exit the project.Taking to Twitter, the 51-year-old filmmaker finally broke her silence and refuted the ongoing reports that she called “inaccurate”, saying that she never abandoned the project and was open to considering anything that was requested of her. While Jenkins didn’t namedrop DC Studios’ James Gunn and Peter Safran, the DCU director responded to her bombshell statement, saying: “I can attest that all of Peter and my interactions with you were only pleasant and professional.“Gunn’s response comes on the heels of reports claiming that Jenkins walked out after being requested to rework her screenplay for the supposed sequel. As it stands, we still don’t know if Warner Bros. Discovery actually accepted her withdrawal from the film but it’s worth noting that Gunn and Safran are presenting their long-term plans for the DCU this week
