Legacies tried to break free from its parent show by disconnecting from the wider universe. But as this move is proven ineffective, it tried to bring back plenty of TVD lore to the series, though it was too late. As Legacies Season 5 should have featured a lot of explosive storylines, what fans should have seen if it was renewed?
Season 4 Finale that Setup Legacies Season 5
In the Season 4 finale, Jed (Ben Levin) and Ben (Zane Phillips) were already free of their curses. So in Legacies Season 5, Screen Rantrevealed fans might have seen them continuing their journeys without any power. This might have also taught them that what they saw as their curses were actually their gifts. Elsewhere, the canceled season might focus more on Kaleb (Chris Lee) and Cleo (Omono Okojie) after the fourth season revealed her new powers as an Oracle foresaw a terrifying future for her and Kaleb. Lastly, viewers may see a different Salvatore School after Alaric (Matthew Davis) stepped down as its headmaster and was replaced by TVD’s Caroline (Candice King) as the new headmistress.

The Introduction of Elena and Damon’s Child in Legacies Season 5
If there’s one big major storyline Legacies Season 5 is about to feature, it’s introducing Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) child, Stephanie. The way we alluded to her in the genie episode was as though she was 12 or 13. But in the Legacies timeline, their kids were younger, probably toddlers." Though there are no words yet if there’s a chance for Legacies Season 5 to be picked up, Plec revealed a new TVD spinoff is in development and will directly stem from Legacies.
