During his recent appearance at Popverse’s New York Comic-Con panel (via The Direct), Isaac confirmed that his MCU hero is set to make his return to the franchise soon although he didn’t give out any more specific details regarding the circumstance of his upcoming comeback. “Are you looking at a Season 2? All I can say is it is not the last we’ve heard of the system that is Moon Knight,” the actor said.
For the past few months, there have been rumors and speculations that Moon Knight is getting a second season as teased by a social media post that ramped up the talks amongst fans. There is also a chance that the character’s comeback will be in another MCU project where he will team up with another hero. While we don’t have any of the details regarding the character’s return, this is the first time that Isaac publicly acknowledged that he will be appearing in another MCU project soon and this should excite fans who have been waiting for any news regarding the character’s next step in the MCU. For now, all we can do is wait and speculate on what Marvel’s plans are regarding the character’s future in the MCU now that it is clear that his journey is far from over and we’re going to expect more adventures from him whether it’s solo or finally working with another established MCU character which we never saw in the series.
