Deadline previously reported that Zaslav is unsatisfied with how Netflix pays for producers (since Warner Bros. Discovery produces The Sandman for Netflix). However, with the author of the series himself speaking for his work, Gaiman reassures the show fans that it is being taken care of.
Aside from that, The Sandman Season 2 will be introducing a new character: Delirium, which Gaiman recently teased the character reveal during Brazil’s 2022 Comic Con Experience (via Total Film), among many others they plan to add as the series goes on.

The Sandman Season 2 has no release date yet, but The Sandman Season 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
