Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 3 Ranked 3rd Place as ‘Worst K-dramas of 2022’
In a report obtained by the outlet, TV Chosun’s Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) ranked third place. Initially released in January of 2021, the romance life K-drama aired with three seasons, focusing on misfortune encountered by three attractive female characters who are in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. Season 3 is headlined by Park Joo Mi, Kang Shin Hyo, Lee Ga Ryeong, Jeon Soo Kyung, and Ji Young San as the lead stars. Despite the public’s opinion regarding the TV Chosun’s K-drama, the finale episode for Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) ends with a double-digit rating, garnering an average nationwide rating of 10.4 percent, making it the highest viewership rating for season 3.
Money Heist Korea: Joined Economic Area Part 1 Hailed as 2nd ‘Worst K-dramas of 2022’
From romance life K-drama to crime action series, viewers seemed to be disappointed with the Korean adaptation of Netflix’s Money Heist. Money Heist Korea: Joined Economic Area lands second place as the “worst K-dramas of 2022.” The part one of the remakes with a total of six episodes premiered on June 24, immediately entered Netflix’s global top 10 tv shows. Unfortunately, it landed second place in the poll making it one of the worst K-dramas of 2022. The same goes for viewers’ scores in IMDb where Money Heist Korea got 5.3 ratings while 79 percent Tomatometer and only 50 percent audience scored in Rotten Tomatoes. Money Heist Korea: Joined Economic Area Part 1 stars Yoo Ji Tae as The Professor while Squid Game star Park Hae Soo played Berlin. As for the police, Kim Yoon Jin played Seon Woo Jin, the crisis negotiation team leader under the National Police Agency in South Korea, and Kim Sung Oh as Joint task Force leader Cha Mu Hyeok representing North Korea.
Eve Named as the ‘Worst K-dramas of 2022’
Unfortunately for Seo Ye Ji’s comeback to the small screen following her hiatus due to the controversy, Eve scored the highest votes, naming the series as the “worst K-dramas of 2022.” The 16-part episode series, helmed by Park Bong Sub of Dinner Mate and penned by Birth of a Beauty screenwriter Yoon Young Mi, viewers are not drawn to the drama’s storyline, despite a roster of talented stars joining the lineup. At the time, Eve wrapped up the season with its highest ratings for the entire run after gaining a 4.5 percent viewership rating. However, despite the low ratings and controversy faced by the drama, lead star Yoo Sun, who played Han So Ra, a chaebol’s daughter who is obsessed with her husband, took home the Excellence Award, Actress in a Miniseries in 2022 APAN Star Awards.
