Fandango has revealed that the re-release of Spider-Man: No Way Home (dubbed “The More Fun Stuff Version”) this coming September 2 will include 11 minutes of new footage and tickets will go on sale this coming Tuesday, August 23.
However, the outlet didn’t reveal more details regarding the scenes that will be added in the re-release of the film. If anything, we can safely assume for now that they will show more scenes featuring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield and the returning villains. It is also unknown if they will show the same scenes that were featured in the deleted scene section on the home video release.
Nevertheless, it is exciting to know that the film’s return to theaters in the coming weeks will have a special treat for fans and it is curious to see how the new footage will impact the rest of the film or if it will also affect the story at all.
The film’s logline reads: “Peter Parker is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a super-hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”
The cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Charlie Cox, Jon Favreau, and Benedict Wong.
