The new video was shared by Netflix and it opens with Hwang Dong-hyuk delivering a message to all the fans who had supported the series from the start. “I’d like to thank all the Netflix fans around the world again for loving Squid Game,” Hwang said. “Please look forward to Season 2, which will be filled with all-new stories. But in the meantime, I’ve prepared a small gift for the fans waiting for Squid Game Season 2.”

The clip features a mysterious figure carrying two fishes up to his apartment. As he places the fish into an aquarium, it is then revealed that the man is actually Hwang In-ho, the missing brother of the policeman Hwang Jun-ho. Outside In-ho’s apartment, a uniformed woman looks up at his window. Although it is unconfirmed, this appears to be a flashback revealing how Hwang In-ho was recruited to join the previous Squid Game. There is also a possibility that In-ho, who would eventually become the Front Man of the game, would go home to his own apartment despite his high ranking in the game. For now, Squid Game Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. In addition to that, it is not yet announced whether Lee Byung-hun will reprise his role as the Front Man in the second season. However, there is a possibility we’ll get an update soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
