Rosario Dawson recently attended the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo where she discussed her upcoming projects (via The Wrap). At one point, the Daredevil actor shared how she had a brief encounter with the late Carrie Fisher at the same event back in 2016 and she believes it was Fisher who somehow helped her return to Chicago to promote her own Star Wars projects
“You know, the Force was strong with her, and she sprinkled some magic fairy dust on me that meeting because you know, here I am, back again,” Dawson said. “Just give her a shoutout. So Carrie, we love you.”
It’s great to know that Dawson’s encounter with Carrie Fisher has left a lasting effect on the former. With that in mind, we’re grateful to Fisher for everything she has done for Star Wars, even if it was just to sprinkle magic fairy dust on Dawson.
Ahsoka Tano made her live-action debut in The Mandalorian Season 2 before appearing in The Book of Boba Fett. The character is set to headline her own spin-off series which will bring back Rosario Dawson.
The show will also star Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren. In addition to that, the new Star Wars series is set to give Star Wars Rebels characters their live-action debut. The surviving Ghost crew members, namely Chopper, Hera Syndulla, and Ezra Bridger, are set to appear in Ahsoka. Likewise, Grand Admiral Thrawn is expected to show up in the series.
