There, the November release date of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds in Japan was announced along with the reveal of a new key visual, as well as the complete cinema list. Aside from heavily featuring the new character Hiiro, this new visual features the rest of the Slime Isekai’s main cast, including Rimuru Tempest, Benimaru, Souei, Shion, Shuna, Hakurou, and Diablo. The visual also features a seemingly new character at the top. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Guren no Kizuna in Japanese) is the first anime movie adaptation in the Slime Isekai series. The movie follows protagonist Rimuru Tempest who gets involved in a conspiracy that revolves around the Queen of Raja. In this adventure, Rimuru and his companions also cross paths with Hiiro, a survivor of the Ogre race. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is an anime series by Eight Bit that is based on the light novel series of the same name by Fuse. The series began as a web novel series until it was picked up by Micro Magazine in 2014. Since then, the light novel series has continued until the present day, and it has received a manga adaptation along with several spin-off mangas. As for the Slime Isekai anime, it began with a 2-cour first season which aired from October 2018 to March 2019. This was followed up with a split-cour second season which aired in the Winter 2021 and Summer 2021 seasons. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds will release in cinemas in Japan on November 25, 2022. The movie will release in theaters worldwide in early 2023.
